Here, you'll only find companies that are committed to upholding these fundamental principles of sustainable travel:

- Preserving authentic cultural heritage
- Promoting the social and economic well-being of local communities
For a company to appear on Green.travel, it must provide written documentation from an objective third party to prove that it's taking concrete steps to promote these principles.
The Greater the Commitment, the Better
And, to make it easier for travelers to select companies that match their degree of commitment to these principles, each company on Green.travel will receive a rating (from 0 - 5 Green Suitcases). The more progress a company has made in incorporating the principles of sustainable travel into its business practices, the higher its Green Suitcase rating will be.
To encourage companies to strive for higher Green Suitcase ratings, we've designed our search function to list companies based on the number of Green Suitcases they've earned. The higher their Green Suitcase rating, the higher they'll appear in search results.
